Systems

The lab can test up to five separate grid connected PV systems.  Currently, the lab is testing the following:

  1. Sharp ND-224UC1 panel, enPhase M190 microinverter, fixed 40° altitude and 180° azimuth.
  2. Sharp ND-224UC1 panel, enPhase M190 microinverter, fixed 30° altitude, Zomeworks UTR-020 passive azimuth tracker.
  3. Sharp ND-224UC1 panel, enPhase M190 microinverter, Wattsun AZ 225 active altitude and azimuth tracker.
  4. 8 Sharp ND-224UC1 panels, SMA Sunnyboy 2000 W , fixed 40° altitude and 180° azimuth.
  5. 8 Sharp ND-224UC1 panels, SMA Sunnyboy 2000 W , Wattsun AZ 225 active altitude and azimuth tracker.

Instrumentation

AC electrical power is measured using Ohio Semitronics power transducers.
